Museum of Natural History

 

  In continuation of my efforts in popularizing art of Tanjore paintings, I was invited to provide a demonstration of how the paintings are created. As part of the Meeting God, Elements of Hindu Devotion's public program, I  demonstrated the art of Tanjore Paintings at

    I was pleasantly surprised by the turn out, as many foreigners and Indians spent time with me trying to understand this traditional art form.
  There was one elderly lady who was very thankful to me when I explained the story behind why Lord Ganesha had an Elephant's head !  
 I am extremely thankful to Meriam Lobel, my very good friend who made this event happen. It was indeed a very moving and thrilling experience. She is shown in the picture on the left, talking to me
