| Priya has been busy spreading the facts about Indian arts and festival in the Berkley Elementary school in Westwood. She spent about 5 months teaching children from Kindergarten to 4th grade. To top it all, she also taught them the basics of Tanjore painting. All her students created their version of the Tanjore painting. The awareness created as well as the interest among the students was worth the time she spent with them. The local paper carried a news article about the whole exercise | | |

| With my husband and close family friend, Meraj Beg, We came up with an idea to create a site where we could list the facts which made us Proud to be Indians. The site, www.ProudToBeIndian.com was launched on Jan 26, 1999.
